Ara Pacis, RomeAfter a long period of extensive restoration necessary to create the best preservation conditions, the Ara Pacis museum is once again open to public.

The Museum was designed by the American architect Richard Meier.

In order to enhance the monument and lead the visitor to a full appreciation of the decorative details, the architect has played with natural light and shadow. The 500 sq mt crystal ceiling not only provides full natural lighting, but it also favours the necessary acoustic insulation required for the visitor to be immersed in the Seculum Aureum narrations of the altar.

ArtesaArtesa is Napa's newest, most exciting winery. The architecturally-acclaimed facility opened as Codorniu Napa in 1991, dedicated solely to méthode champenoise. But in 1997, with the arrival of a world-class winemaker and an extensive restoration, the winery shifted focus dramatically. Artesa is today not only a premium wine producer, but a cultural center that combines contemporary architecture with art. The perfect example is the cooperation with Gordon Hueter, Artesa resident artist since 1992. The sculptor has ever since been experimenting with a variety of media with the idea of creating a synergy between high quality wine, architecture and art.

Kevin Reilly LightingKevin Reilly's elegant, handmade fixtures have caught the attention of many designers, architects and celebrity clients all over the world. His most successful chandelier is a long steel rectangular tray with electric candles. The candles themselves are made of a specially formulated wax, which has an extremely high melting point that allows the candles to be lit electrically. The candles emit a warm natural glow but have the potential to light an entire room. A dimmer is all that's needed to set the mood of the room. All the lamps can be custom-made to fit your special needs, and they can be used in commercial or residential environments. Suppliers worldwide.

Lotus Cafe Chairs Design by rené holten

Made with a new composite material, snow white, that is as hard as marble, soft to touch and easy to clean. Sleek, smooth and functional, the design of the lotus stretches the frontiers of this material to its limits. The way in which the moulded tablet flows into the shell is possible only with this sort of material. The sloping shape of the shell is emphasized by the four slim legs of the central stainless-steel base
